I am going to Grossmont right now....trying to get my general ed classes so I can transfer to a more prominant university...

Top Choices Thus Far
1. Carnagie Mellon : BFA in Directing or Dramaturgy
2. UCLA: BA in Directing and a minor in History

Some people might argue that I could've stayed at Cornish....but I was throughly unhappy doing acting classes for stuff I already had learned or expierienced whereas my classmates we expieriencing it for the first time....as well as that I lost my passion to act....and in my senior year at CHS I gained a HUGE passion for directing and dramaturgy, after doing "Laramie" and then being handed the script to Skin of Our Teeth by Mr. Y after they had lost their Dramaturge and someone in the cast suggested that I do it because all my Rep scenes were mainly based on research subjects I had come across in my studies.

Currently taking 6 classes including Intercolligiate Forensics and the most exciting news of all....I have 3 jobs/internships at AMAZING place.

1. Assistant Dramaturge for History Boys and Assassins at Cygnet
2. Assistant Director for The Ice Wolf at CHS (a new musical)

to be working on these things with such prominent people in the theatre community in San Diego is more than I could ask for...and I am happy to be back.

Yes I could've studied O works at Cornish...but really...who wants an acting major with just a few classes in Directing when I could be thrown in the lion cage. I hate to say it...but acting lets you have a limited creative process whereas Directing gives you the world on a silver platter...with a knife and a fork!

So I'm halfway done with my first semester at Cornish College of the Arts.

Its a challenge, being away from the only city I can refer to as my home. Most of the kids here have moved around quite a lot. There is actually a kid from CoSA who left two years before I went there. Odd coincidence. Its nice to have a few people from CoSA up here. I'm being the usual college student, going to dinner parties, parties and outings with my friends. Trying to go to sleep before 10:30 every night...not on weekends though.

I just moved into my second apartment in Seattle. I didn't move very far though...up a floor and over 3 apartments, into a beautiful two bedroom apartment. Its glorious. I can see Mt. Ranier from my window, snow and all.

I had a friend from high school ask me to make them a snowman for Christmas. They gave me a list of things that had to be on it and to take a picture of it and bring it home for them. I offered to buy them something more prominent in their way of life, something they liked. But they refused for me to do this for them. They also asked me to make it rain for them in Seattle, which is easy.
I don't think I've ever been so pleased to do something for a friend. It made me happy. I talk to him (yes him) every week, and it's so good to have someone at home keeping me informed on my home. It's good to have someone who cares.

I come home in 3 weeks, and I've already planned everything I will be doing. Then I'm home for a month starting December 15 till January 14. Life is good.

Wow!!!! What a week....so today..actually about two hours ago Donny, Lily, Collin, and I began to watch a movie....not just any movie....but Grey Gardens. One of the freakiest movies you can ever watch.

This is how this began:

I, being bored out of my mind at home...watching celebrity skiing...dont ask, decided to go on island. I decided to first head to the library to check my email and see what my schedule is like for rehersal this week. I walk in and i hear "Scuffy!!!!!" it is Lily, Collin, and Donny. They tell me to follow them and then ask me to watch this movie with them. I decide to say yes...cause i have nothing better to do! we head to collins house...what we didnt know was that this movie would change us.

Edie Beale is one scary lady....CAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Just watch the movie...and you'll know what i mean!

Im waiting.....patiently, for playwrights project to call me. The writer is somewhere backpacking and is unable to be reached at this time....and they need his approval. They sent me an email, and called me...these were mindblowing emails. Anyways, even if i dont get cast, they told me I should be happy... apparently I blew the directors mind.

Anyway, I have 3 pieces in the Rep Show. My fav is called "The Phoenix". Mrs. Benning says it could be a really deep scene. Excpet its a monologue, done by a guy in a coma. You'll just have to see what it looks like, im super excited. The other Scene is called "I See What I Wanna See".....um kinda ripped off a musical....SHUSH!
I picked good actors: Collin, Morgan, Erin, and tba. We have 4 boys in rep....amazing.

Rep t-shirts are happening, and its amazing...personal jokes...ull just have to see it to believe it.

If your coming home before Decemeber 7-9(Thursday-Saturday)tell me if u want tix for the rep show...we r advertising like crazy!

I love u all!

Shoutout to Leah(old tradition) you party ANIMAL!

IM A SENIOR!!!! I mean I've always been excited about it but when it finally hit me it was like a ton of bricks.

I just wanted to thank all the CoSA seniors: even though ive only known some of you for a yeaR AND SOME OF YOU FOR MORE THAN 10, you all have influenced me to be a better person and a better actor...i love you all so much.

Sometimes I want to cry.

Come to the Musical Theatre Revue Wednesday Night @ 7
At Southwestern College.

Im dancing in a cantina, and expressing myself. Dancing to stellas, proving myself as a "sick individual", killing a president, and saying the sun has got his hat on. And wishing there were more doors open to find something or someone.

I guess theres nothing else to say. I need to cheer up. I need someone who will make me laugh.

The Zeiger Show was super funny!!! Go see it!

that last entry was a little...odd. I bought my prom dress today...can u say CLEAVAGE. Clo came with me and we both looked.I tried on 10 dresses in all, and sometimes I look like a 5 year old in pink, and then other times i look like a crazy bag lady(which i do alot). I guess i was super excited for prom in the beginning but now its just a blur. I have SAT's the morning of....very stupid of me, 5 hours of bliss...then getting my hair and makeup. It seems such a waste to be pretty for one night, and spend that much money....especially on the bids....but its at the Prado and includes dinner.....so it should be somewhat fun.

I'm worried some people take some things to seriously when it comes to prom, like who u take. If you tell people your just friends, they take that as a sign....I sometimes wish certain people went from kid straight to adult...but that overkill.

JRB concert tommorrow with Josh and Michael.JRB=Jason Robert Brown writer of Songs for a new World, The Last Five Years, and Parade, plus we r going to ger married.Yeah I know...wishful thinking.

Party=fun.
I want a break from life. I promise this isn't me being emo. I want to breathe....deeply.

Luv to those whom i like...which may not be you,

So now i have a prom date...and hes not going to ditch me unless he's lying on a slab of metal in the city morgue. That would be quite sad.

So i realized, next year will be CoSA only shows not counting B&B which im probably going to aud for and see if i get Madame or Mrs. Potts, oh and To Kill a Mockingbird especially if its night rehersals again! Life is just to hectic and i really need to breathe next year, since im going to be a senior...De Ja Vu.

I find Citizen Kane, amazing. I love Orson Welles. He's goodlooking then old. I think for my cinema project im going to analyze Big Fish.....or something. Ang suggestions from Tyler or any other film buffs?????

I saw Weird Romance twice, and i loved it both times. I want that makeup....and hair.. and purple dress.City Deli was fun on friday, u do ironic yet amazing things when ur extremely tired.

Scene Study was amazing today thanks to Tati. I can still imagine myself in that ocean and defeating that creature. I should be paying tati more than LJPC.

My summer
La Jolla Playhouse Conservatory: 6 weeks(memorize 8 monologues and read the plays they come from and 1 song)
Cats: 2 weeks
Honk: 2 months
Independent Study: geometry ( 1 semester of work)

Thursday: NCT HS tournament...support la Jolla and boo OLP/Saints(i hate the people on the team)
Friday: SBE 4 Zhivago.....hang with Zoe, Alice, Dev, Blair, Jenna, Maddy, and maybe someone else!!!!!
Saturday: sleep, and PARTY
Sunday: JRB concert with Josh and Michael...if ur going call me if u want to have din with me and josh!!!!

I probably wont update until after prom so ...............goodbye
i love you all......of course thats a lie!
